As part of The Florrie’s new Youth Charter project we have started a litter picking group, going out each Saturday to help clean up our area.
Working with young people from our community we created a youth charter of 8 pledges to improve L8/L1. Young people can sign-up to the youth charter & confirm their commitment to making L8/L1 a better place for everyone. They will receive a membership card & a golden L8 badge once they have completed some volunteer work.
These weekly litter picks are one of the first activities that the young people here at The Florrie have decided to undertake as part of that pledge. The litter picks are totally safe & socially distanced. Local young people are joining our youth worker Brodie to get out & about in their community, working together to clean up our area.
