The Florrie Food Support Programme helps people & families across Liverpool who may be struggling with food poverty. Our Food Union provides people access to affordable groceries, toiletries, baby products & clothing. We also deliver food parcels to vulnerable people in our community using our electric delivery van which was kindly donated by Nivea & Liverpool Football Club.
The Florrie Food Union is open to anyone who lives in Liverpool. It costs £1 to become a member which gives you access too a fortnightly shop in the union. Each shop costs £5 for which you’ll receive 10 items worth a far greater value. Members also have access to a range of discount clothing & other household items which will vary from visit to visit.
To become a member please head down to The Florrie, 377 Mill Street, L8 4RF on Friday 9am-3pm. To sign up you will need proof of address & your £1 membership fee.
Here is a general example of what a single person might receive in one of our emergency food parcels. Products & brands will differ slightly from parcel to parcel but we always ensure that people receive a good variety of produce; including fresh produce when it’s available.
Can you donate any of the following items to support local families?
If you can help please drop off at The Florrie, 377 Mill Street, L8 4RF anytime between 9am-4pm Monday-Friday.
The Florrie is a Charity at the heart of its Community.
All Donations received are used for the most vital aspects of the Charity, that include our Food-Union, Holiday Hunger Schemes, youth programmes and Community Hub activities.
Please be assured your Donation will help the most vulnerable people and families who need it most and need it now.
Thank you for your generosity.
