Red Rum Club | Jacaranda Baltic | Thursday 4th & Saturday 6th September

Red Rum Club will be performing at the Jacaranda Baltic this month in support of the release or their new album “Buck”. The Scouse sextet are back with a bang as they take to the stage for two album launch gigs, showcasing their ever-evolving sound. Be sure to check out their new tracks and all their old hits for a gig that will no doubt blow the roof off!

Hannah Weedall | Kazimier Stockroom | Friday 5th September

A jam-packed gig on Friday 5th September as Hannah Weedall plays Kazimier Stockroom for her debut headline show! She will be joined by both Room Two and Georgia Johnson as her supporting acts, making this one of the best places to see some of Liverpool’s best upcoming music. Be sure to listen out on Florrie Radio as we regularly spin those that you’ll be able to see on the night. Miles Kane | Jacaranda Baltic | Sunday 14th September

Miles Kane returns with his new album “Sunlight in the Shadows”, performing an album launch show at the Jacaranda Baltic. The Liverpool music veteran returns in style with his recent single “Electric Flower”, as a teaser for what is to come in his latest record. A proven Scouse maestro performing in a small venue – what more could you ask for?

Dorothy Bird | Saturday 20th September | Leaf Bold Street

Dorothy Bird will be performing at Leaf on Bold Street this September as she launches her new album “Whispering Paper” – described as ethereal sounds and haunting beauty. Ian Prowse & Amsterdam | St Michael’s Church | Friday 26th September

Ian Prowse and Amsterdam return this September after the huge success of the show they did last year at the Liverpool Philharmonic. Performing an acoustic evening, they will be celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Does This Train Stop on Merseyside.

The Florrie Car Boot Sale | The Florrie | 13th September

British Science Festival | Multiple Locations | 10th – 14th September

In partnership with the University of Liverpool and Liverpool John Moores University, the British Science Festival arrives in Liverpool.  Scientists have worked closely with the local community to bring a huge range of talks and activities to the city.  From sports science talks, to the language of trees, the future of prosthetics, and even space colonies, there’s something for everyone – and you don’t have to be an expert to enjoy the festival.  You’ll even have the chance to make a piece of jewellery using your own DNA!

Ghost Hunt, Mayer Hall | Bebington | 6th September

Autumn is approaching, and what better way to get yourself into the spirit of a season than with a ghost hunt?  Past visitors to the gothic Mayer Hall have experienced cold spots and unexplained footsteps, and now is your chance to catch some paranormal evidence of your own.  Hosted by DeadLive, you’ll explore restricted areas of the hall, take part in vigils, and use paranormal equipment like Ouija boards and spirit boxes.  If you’re feeling brave, you could even volunteer for a lone watch – this hunt isn’t for the faint of heart!

An Evening with Mika Hakkinen & David Coulthard | Philharmonic Hall | 23rd September

The second half of the F1 season revvs back to life after the summer break, and now fans have the chance to get the insider scoop on their favourite sport with McLaren teammates Mika Hakkinen and David Coulthard.  These fierce rivals turned firm friends will be sitting down in the Philharmonic Hall for an unfiltered discussion, sharing personal stories and reflecting on highlights from their years racing in the 90’s, as well as giving the audience their insight on the 2025 season so far.

Hope Street Blend | Hope Street | 26th – 28th September

In celebration of Hope Street’s rich cultural and artistic history, Liverpool BID Company invites you to wind down the summer with this mini festival.  The street will be filled with even more music and art than usual, with venues including Frederiks, Arts Bar, and Hope Street Hotel opening their doors to a whole array of live performances.  Whether jazz, indie, or singer-songwriters are your thing, Hope Street has something for everyone.oHopH

Paws Along the Prom | Liverpool Waterfront | 28th September

This month, local charity Options is running a sponsored dog walk to raise funds for their important work supporting people with disabilities, autism, and acquired brain injuries in the local community.  Join them on a 3km scenic walk along the waterfront to and meet some of your neighbourhood furry friends whilst raising money to help make the world a better place for people with disabilities.  If you book your tickets early, you’ll receive a doggy bandana for your pup to sport proudly on the prom.
