The Balla | Kazimier Stockroom | Saturday 19th July
Off the back of supporting The Farm at The Jacaranda Baltic, and playing Future Yard’s Beats Beyond Borders festival, The Balla will be playing a headline show at Kazimier Stockroom. Following the release of their latest single “I’m Not a Number”, which has rapidly amassed 2,000 streams on Spotify, the band are quickly gaining deserved traction and hype. The gig has unfortunately already sold out, further proving that this band aren’t to be slept on. Keep your eyes peeled for anyone selling spare tickets (or maybe even a way to sneak in) as this is one not to be missed… Up the Balla!

Open Mic Night (Oasis Special) | The Florrie | Friday 4th July
Our very own open mic night returns at The Florrie on the first Friday of July with a very special Oasis theme. With the band returning in the next few weeks for their reunion gigs, what better way to prepare than a night of live music celebrating their biggest hits. This will be a great night of community so make sure to get down so you’re not the one looking back in anger, as some might say this will be one of the best!
All ages and abilities are welcome, no competition, just good vibes! So get ready to get on stage and go let it out!

Summertime Jam | The Stage Door Prescot | Saturday 26th July
A full day of music raising money for two amazing charities, what more could you want? Summertime Jam brings all this for only £2 a ticket on the door – raising money for Olivia’s Butterfly Foundation and The Stroke Association. Make sure to get down and show your support for two great causes on the day, whilst enjoying some great music at the same time!


A Celebration of Zoe’s Place | M&S Bank Arena | Thursday 17th July
Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra will come together with some of Liverpool’s best artists, including Jamie Webster, Ian McCulloch and The Zutons, to celebrate the story of Zoe’s Place. Hosted by Adam Rowe & Leanne Campbell, the night will have unforgettable performances whilst remembering the spirit of the city that came together to save the hospice. Battle of the Bands | Jacaranda Baltic | 4th,11th,18th,24th July
The Jacaranda’s Battle of the Bands returns with the first four of the five heats taking place in July! Warriors of Rock is back and is sure to bring the best out of Liverpool with a coveted prize of £1000, a headline slot at a future Jacaranda Records gig, and studio time with star producer Jon Withnall. Each of the heats, including the finals, are free to attend, so make sure to get down to see the best of upcoming Scouse Rock!

The Magical History Tour & Community Fun Day | The Florrie | 19th July
Join us on Saturday 19th July at The Florrie for a fantastic community fun day and our Magical History Tour!
The Courtyard opens at 3PM, offering a lively free celebration for all ages with bouncy castles, face painting, live music, poetry, food, and a fully licensed bar. It’s a perfect way to spend time with family and friends in a welcoming, creative space.
For those wanting to explore Liverpool’s rich heritage, purchase tickets for our Magical History Tour. This 90-minute open-top bus journey, guided by local legend Tom Calderbank, takes you through the city’s iconic sights and hidden stories, revealing fascinating secrets and colourful corners of Liverpool’s past.
All proceeds go towards preserving The Florrie’s historic building and supporting vital community services in Liverpool’s L8 area. Don’t miss this magical day!

The Croft | Playhouse Theatre | 1st – 5th July
Based on a true story, this stage thriller tells the story of Laura and Suzanne, who arrive at the abandoned village of Coille Ghillie in the highlands to stay in an old crofter’s cottage. What was supposed to be a weekend trip becomes a dark, twisted tale as Laura and Suzanne become embroiled in the strange history of The Croft and the lines between the past and present are blurred.
Starring Liza Goddard, Caroline Harker, and Gray O’Brien, this haunting play is the perfect summer palette cleanser for lovers of all things strange and spooky. Please note: this play is suitable for ages 14+.

Big Art | Walker Gallery | Multiple dates throughout July
Big Art is a free interactive gallery for little ones aged 0-5. Designed for kids to learn through creative play, Big Art for Little Artists features colourful paintings and sculptures to be explored, as well as costumes to be tried on, books, and toys.
The main event is the craft table, where kids can exercise their creativity and create art to take home with them, or to be displayed in the gallery! The best part? The craft table has a different theme each week, so you can visit multiple times and there’s always something new to discover.

Liverpool Arab Arts Festival | Multiple Locations | 11th-20th July
If you want it, Liverpool Arab Arts Festival has got it. For the 27th year running, LAAF keeps Arab culture alive by showcasing a whole host of modern and traditional artforms from local and international creatives. From children’s workshops, comedy nights, and art exhibitions to supper clubs, there is no end to the ways in which you can learn and experience more Arab culture this July.
In the midst of the atrocities being committed in the Middle East at the moment, this is also a great opportunity to learn more about Palestinian culture and listen to authentic Palestinian voices. Attend a traditional Palestinian embroidery workshop, a storytelling and discussion evening, or a one-woman show to experience and support the incredible work of Palestinian artists.
LAAF Family Day is a free event running on the 20th July. It’s a great opportunity to listen to live music, try delicacies from different countries, and there’s a range of creative and interactive workshops for kids to try out. Head over to Sefton Park Palm House with your family for a day of high spirits, joy, and celebration of Arab culture.

A Night at the Movies | Mersey Ferry | 12th July

Beyond Monet & Beyond Van Gogh Immersive Experience | Exhibition Centre Liverpool | 15th July – 15th August
Head down to the docks for these highly anticipated exhibitions – using a new and innovative technology and a bespoke soundscape, you will be immersed in over 400 works by artists Monet and Van Gogh (depending on which exhibition you choose).
The experience makes you feel as though you are standing inside one of these great works of art, attempting to capture the masterful use of light, movement and colour through shifting, constantly evolving imagery. If you are feeling particularly extravagant, for one night there is the opportunity to treat yourself to a 19th century French three-course dining experience whilst you enjoy the exhibition.
